Annual general meeting and extraordinary general meeting, for adjustment of the statutes, on february 8th 2025 in Grevenmacher.

European Heritage Days

This year's European Heritage Days took place from September 27th to October 5th, under the theme “Routes, networks and connections”. The 180 km long route from Lieler to Schengen, the Compostelle Way through Luxembourg, with its 8 stages, was one of the routes on the program.

Stage 1: Friday, September 27th was the start of the route in Lieler.

Stage 2 : The group on the road on Saturday September 28th from Rodershausen via Stolzemburg and Vianden to Bettel.

Stage 3: Monday September 30th, in the rain, from Bettel to Echternach.

Stage 4: Arriving in Grevenmacher on October 1rst, the pilgrims went to the “Kräizkapell” to celebrate mass together, followed by a reception at the “Kaplounshaus” in Grevenmacher.

Stage 6: Coffee break at the Centre Jean XXlll, with explanations by Mme Renée Schmit, director of the diocesan pilgrimage office and the « CFD - Centre de formation diocésain ». Then back on the road, through the old town of Luxembourg City to the Cathedral and on to Leudelange.

Stage 8: Last Stage on October 5th, from Hellange to Schengen. Visite oft he „Kaschtel“ with explanation of the site by Mr. Jerry Grün.

Commemoration Day of St-James 2024

For organizational reasons, this year's Saint-Jacques celebration took place on July 27th.

A 6 km walk was organized from Ellange-Gare to Altwies. In the beautiful Altwies church, a mass was celebrated for all pilgrims, followed by a meal at the Kohn restaurant. The statue of St. James is in the Altwies church.

Echternach 2024

After a 17 km pilgrimage from Befort to Echternach on May 20th, we took part in the dancing procession the following day, unfortunately in the rain.

Octave 2024

On May 5th, 2024, we made a pilgrimage to Luxembourg Cathedral to pray to the Consolatrice des Affligés, and took part in the mass celebrated by our chaplain Claude Bache. Afterwards, we enjoyed a convivial breakfast together.

Annual General Meeting March 2nd, 2024

This year's Annual General Meeting took place on March 2nd, 2024 at the “Kaplounshaus” in Grevenmacher. A gift was presented to Camille Mentz in appreciation of his many years of work as treasurer of the association.

President Robert Fourné gave a retrospective of the association's 20-year history and, of course, a birthday cake was offered to celebrate the event.
