Via Coloniesis
From May 17th to May 25th, 10 Members of our association walked from Cologne to Echternach, 215 km in 9 days. On May 26th they took part in the dancing procession in Echternach.
First they hiked through the rather flat region around Cologne. As of the 3rd day, the landscape of the "Via Coloniensis" became hillier in the Eifel.
They stayed in hotels along the road, in cities like Euskirchen, Bad Münstereifel and Blankenheim. On the last day further members of our association joined the group on their hike from Mettendorf to Echternach.
